We’re pleased to announce that Janette Mason is joining the Dot Time Records family to release her latest contemporary jazz album Red Alert.

Red Alert is her new jazz trio project, which includes the dynamic Jack Pollitt on drums and Tom Mason on bass, with Janette on keys+piano. This new album promises to be a mix of cool grooves, interesting landscapes, and funky synths all with a cinematic texture.

Janette is known as an outstanding arranger so alongside her contemporary jazz compositions the trio takes on arrangements of pop classics such as Cars by Gary Numan and Ashes to Ashes by David Bowie.

Her skills as a composer can be heard in countless Television adverts and programs from Sex and the City, The Drew Carey Show to the feature film Ruby Blue.
